Rock climbing in UCL

I really want to do rock climbing when I go ucl next year. But in the student union site I don't see any rock climbing clubs or society. I checked ULU too but its not there.

Could some1 tel me whether or not you can join a rock climbing club in ucl and where I can get info on that plz.

Maybe it's part of the mountaineering society? Or you could try and start your own one when you get there.

I am a rock climber and will be starting in UCL in sep too - good to hear i've found a random UCL person who wants to give climbing a go - yay! Best place to start is mile end wallwww.mileendwall.org.uk

I will be joining UCL starting August. Looking forward to meeting you guys. Anyone been to the Arch climbing/bouldering hall near the London bridge -- the place looks cool from their website images. Any feedback will be great.

Hey guys,

Glad to here there are some new climbing enthusiasts joining UCL next year. Don't worry, UCL does have a climbing society (UCLUMC)!! :biggrin:

As a society we usually go climbing together on tuesdays and thursdays at The Castle in Manor House. The Castle is a fantastic place to train even if you are a beginner and has a real community feel. This year we had an amazing 1 week trip to Mallorca, as well as other trips to Wales, Portland, Scotland... I really encourage you to join the society during freshers week in september.

There will be a UCLUMC stand at the Fresher's Fayre where you can chat to the new society heads and get all the information about the society's social nights, upcoming trips....
