I guess  Local markets are great, there's a guy at mine who does the best burgers :mmm:. Not good for the waistline :gah:

I pulled the trigger TBF, but my dad and uncle pressured me into it :grumble:

Haha, yes. Burgers are nice, haven't had them for a while. That's very true, too much saturated fats. :hmpf:
They shouldn't have, not good.

Only working class people eat sunday roast now.

Middle class people eat something from Nigel Slater.

Oh, I didn't know that, I always thought Sunday roast was a British tradition

Goi Non is a mysterious Vietnamese superfood grain only available in Hampstead.

Many people are asking themselves

"What on earth is Goi Non ?"

I lived in Hampstead for two years when I was a ballet student. [1984-86]. We all lived in a student hostel run by nuns, St.Dorothy's Convent on Frognal. Sting lived over the road from us [number 108]. We used to lean out the window sometimes and he used to wave at us. Seriously lovely area.

Roast Is a tradition and is classless. How you do the roast is a indication of how good a cook you are.

I'm sorry. Was only attempting jokes, did not realise this was in a serious section, I should have checked - usually when Bear gets started, I feel compelled to join in. My apologies.

I can't. My focaccia baking machine has had a collision with the pomegranate depipper. It's chaos.

did the Nuns let you roam free on the Heath ?

:holmes:
Anything 'locally sourced', 'heritage' or 'artisan'. Basically a way of putting a '0' on the end of the price and hoodwinking a load of yummy mummies with too much time on their hands.
