Inequalities - why is this answer not the same as this one?

They ask the same type of question but I would think the first question would have this as an answer: -2, -1, 0, 1. Why doesn't it?

Either works and if the set is quite small then I'd prefer to write out all the possible numbers, if it were bigger, then I'd stick with the inequalities. Just a personal preference really. The key here is to get nn on its own and express its values somehow.

"Write down the possible values of n" is pretty explicit in my opinion. The only acceptable answer is to list them: -2,-1,0,1.
