Tape Recording Lessons

Has anybody ever tape recorded (voice) an entire lesson?

Did it help? Do you need permission from the teacher and such? Or did you just end up with a recording of you talking to your mate about last nights EastEnders?

I am considering buying a dictation machine and keeping it in my bag to record some lessons. I'm sure playing over the lesson again would help difficult lessons sink in.

I doubt it'll pick up the teacher, I think they only have a range of a few feet

If my lessons were anything to go by 75% of them will be everyone ****ing about :wink:

i did..once.

our class were silent for half an hour. then the disruption begain.
it helped me, and i didnt have to tape it, i recorded it on my phone and downloaded it later.

it can help but if you have a noisy class i'd advise against it.
