Help on the first biology question :/

How do u work out expected frequency ?
The expected value is the one which you would expect to receive (unbelievably), so it's the value which would ideally be given if no other factors were at play.

For example, if I tossed a coin 100 times, I would expect to return a result of 'heads' 50 times, and 'tails' 50 times. Of course, that doesn't always happen.

For your specific example, I think you might find something more helpful on the previous page of whatever textbook you're using (the photograph only shows part b) of your question); that will hopefully give you some indication of some 'expected' values.
