Hi Guys,
I've received offers from both Kings and IOE (UCL) for a PGCE course. I'm torn between the two, not sure which one I should go for. If any of you have any experience with either, or both, or could offer some advice I would be very grateful!!

Thank you xxx

Hey,
I'm in the same position as you were. I'm not sure who to go with but I think I'm going to go with King's. What did you decide in the end?

Thanks,
A

Hi Guys,

Congratulations to you both on your offers from Kings! Did you apply for Primary or Secondary (what specialism)?
I've got an upcoming interview for Kings - what's the interview like? How hard is the written test?

Cheers..

I know this is an old thread, but I was in the same position as you all. I got offers from both institutions (English PGCE) and for me the choice was clear and I chose King's. I have no regrets whatsoever. I love King's more than I can explain in words and there wasn't a single dissatisfied person on the course. The tutors across all subjects are incredibly supportive and by the end of the course, you feel yourself to be in a secure position.

ITT is more about what you can bring to the table, I think. Therefore, if you're passionate and driven to do well, the provider is not so important.

Having said that, IOE is renowned for being at the forefront of education research and ITT. King's probably isn't far behind, though.

Since this thread is rather old and OP probably has the advice they need, I'm going to close this thread.
