i have a few questions that I am unable to answer and I can't seem to find the answers anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated

Q1) What are the features of a good medicine?
These are points I have:
- Relieves the symptoms
- Makes the person better without harming them
any other suggestions?

Q2) What is the difference between prescribed and non-prescribed drugs?

Once again, any input would be much appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Perhaps for Q1, if a medicine has a long sell by date that would be useful?

Medicine makes illnesses easier to cope with by reduce pain/symptoms.

Prescribed drugs are specific to the patients need and are often only given out with a prescription from a doctor whereas non prescribed drugs are over the counter drugs which are generic such as painkillers.

I'm guessing you sort of have to use common sense with these questions. Think to yourself, 'what wouldn't make me want to have some medicine?' You'll subconciously know what makes you hesitant to some medicine, which you can use to answer you first question. And for your second question, prescribed drugs are prescribed by your doctor, you have to get a note for them, whereas non-prescribed drugs can be picked up without the consenst of a doctor, I believe.
