I completed my Edexcel GCSE Spanish coursework in year 10 and got 2 A*s and 2 As. (I'm in yr 11 now) Does anyone have an idea of what mark I would have to get in the reading and listening exams in June to average an A* overall?

Contemplating whether to re-do my coursework for at least one more A* but I don't know if it's a good idea to put that kind of pressure on myself with a lot of other things to revise. Thanks for the help!

First of all, well done on doing so well for your coursework (do NOT redo it, seriously)! You should be very proud.

In terms of the exams, you should be looking to achieve at least one A and a B or thereabouts to get you where you need to be. I did the Edexcel course for GCSE and found it ridiculously easy compared to the AQA and OCR courses. You should be OK, just keep revising and going through everything and you'll be fine.

¡Buena suerte!

Thanks for the help Ethan! I will do a lot of past papers and revise well for the mocks and June exams, and I have started going to after-school revision some weeks which I think will help me ace the paper. I'm actually really happy with my coursework grades, but when there are almost-fluent speakers in your class it's hard not to compare yourself to them!!
