She's Moved On. But, I Just Don't Know If I Have Too

Haven't posted on here for quite some time lol

So, there was this girl I liked. Well, like is the wrong word. She was quite a special girl and I had very strong feelings for her but it never really worked out, one could say that it ended 'prematurely'. A few days ago, we were talking and I lived in hope that perhaps me and her still had a chance to get together however my hopes were dashed when she said she had moved on.

I don't know if I have moved on and today I'm ill. I have a fever and sweating like a dog and I feel so :frown: . I've never really been hit by a girl so bad, but it's hit me real bad. Now, I don't want to talk to her at all, but If I do I may hurt her feelings and I don't want to do that. lol sounds cheesy but it's true. lol

lol, well I had to get that out of my system. I don't know what to do.

How old are you btw?

After you've recovered, why don't you do some fun activities or hobbies you really enjoy, try and get together with your friends and have a night out and enjoy yourself ,there are plenty of things that you could do that will take your mind off her. I'm sure you're a very nice bloke and you'll find another girl just like her.

I know how you feel mate, I've been recently going through something similar myself. Don't ever consider not talking to her though: just because she doesn't want to be your lover doesn't mean she can't be a good friend.

I went through the same thing about 5 years ago while I was at uni: I fell for a lass who I really got along with. Then she started going out with a physics professor and I was gutted: I felt worthless, because it felt like she was going with him because he was more intelligent than me.

But over time I got over it (though it was hard as hell) and we ended up great mates. We both went to T In The Park and shared a tent together, we spent New Year in Edinburgh together, we did loads of great stuff: and if I'd taken the huff and never spoken to her again then I'd have missed out on all that cool stuff.

So yes, it's hell now, and it'll take ages to get over it (trust me, I've been there). But I promise you will eventually, and you'll be all the better for it.
