Funding
I have completed a foundation degree (part time for 3 years) and am currently doing a top up degree (1 year) in Childhood studies, Care and Education. Next year I would like to do my teacher training but I have been told that I won't be allowed to obtain funding as I have had it for 4 years. Is this correct?

I think it is right, you are only entitled to four years of tuition fee loans - this goes for anyone. However, these are loans from student finance England. As you want to do a PGCE, you can either opt to fund this yourself, or receive funding elsewhere - many schools offer on-the-job training, allowing you to obtain your PGCE degree whilst you work. You could also look at other websites to see what funding is available, such as this site here https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk/funding-and-salary/overview
