The true friend will always support you, if you get into hard financial times they will let you stay at theirs rent free. They never ask you for anything and only offer to help. You meet up regularly. They also help you with advice in your career/family life. They are well-educated, attractive and highly social.

1 mil. **** friends. Every 'best friend' I've had has turned out to be a piece of ****, in general people are scum and not worth bothering with.

If you had said that your choice is one or the other, you choose one, and you can never have the other.. then I would choose the friend.

But considering the way its worded, Ill take the money, as its I can make friends later quite easily, but making a million is a bit more tricky.

Do we get to keep the friends we already have?

Givemethemoney givemethemoney!!

If we would suddenly lose our current friends for life (including my fiance): No thank you, keep the friends (and get a new one? Is meeting them regularly necessary? I don't really want to do that).

One million. I could buy a big house and adopt and rescue many cats with that amount of money. They would be the only friends I'd need :yep:

No but it will go a bloody long way in terms of not having to worry about things.

A million, friends are easier to get. A million pounds right now would make my life much easier.

Ik that's true, but I would still rather have a true friend Someone will always have my back and I've never really had that in life so it would be nice, but I don't disagree with you.

Do you not have family who fit that description?

I would take the million, I don't even need to think twice about it.

Money only lasts so long and I've never desired more than what I have now. Arguably a true friend is quite hard to come by and therefore priceless. So I would chose the friend.
