Am I being too clingy?

So basically, I've just started uni and I get on with my flat pretty well, but they don't really go out (as in clubbing) much at all (apart from one who goes out with separate friends), so I started going out with some other people. Through them I met this other flat, who I really enjoy going out with but I really don't know if they like me :/ I asked if I could go out with them the other night and it was fun but after I asked one of the girls to let me know when they go out again, which they haven't. When I was with them the other night they mentioned going out in Saturday but didn't explicitly ask me to come with them, do I seem clingy/desperate to ask to join them again (especially as it will probably just be me with their flat)? Plus I would probably regard them as being more popular than me so I feel slightly inferior 😂 Thanks!!
