Let's get a list of all the people who will be coming to Brookes this September.
Just say what course you're doing and what date you aim to arrive

I'll start. I'll be doing history (BA) and will probably aim to arrive on the Sunday (16th).

How do you know that you're in Cheney already? Do tell give people that are going to be in Cheney earlier so that they know about deposits and stuff like that?

Anyway, I'm going to be studying Architecture (K100 course). No idea where I'll be living or when I'm going, but I'm gonna try and get their as early as possible.

We got a little booklet telling us what's going on last year. Might be online as well. Maybe try either www.brookes.ac.uk or possibly www.thesu.com. There's normally something on every night. At the end of the week there is a ball (formal attire)... if you want to go to that, last year you had to book tickets really early... ie ASAP.

No, I just know because I was having a room allocated because I'm having an op on my knee. I haven't heard that I'm not having the room she was talking about, so I'm presuming I'm in Cheney. Confusing, yes.

Unconditionals have had theirs through, too.

City and Regional Planning for me. Had another look round Oxford today, impressed me more this time, might have been because it isn't December this time and I actually had a better look round.

^^ that will be fine, but keep in mind that loooooads of new people will be in the same boat as you and your first few nights will almost certainly be spent with your new house/halls mates, in pubs etc and getting to know each other.

Yes, as Boosh says, try not to alienate your flatmates to be with your bf. If you dont go out with them on the first week and you dont socialise during the days (keep your door wedged open) then you run the risk of being frozen out of the group.
