Problem logging into sussed

Have a look here:

Service line are the people to contact if you've tried all that, but they wont be in til Monday.

I can get into sussed* (as much as I hate it), but then my username hasn't changed from last year :redface:

I don't think serviceline will be in on Monday - if they are they're very unlucky, it's Bank Holiday Monday!

Just to check, your sussed log in name is the first part of your email address not the whole thing so it'll be something like aj1v07

hi guys, been trying to log into sussed but keep getting an error message saying wrong password ,though its correct.
anyone been able to go into sussed?

same here! i can't seem to get logged on either... eventhough i'm doing everything right! and i changed my password again just to make sure but it's still not working!

it works for me but i dont seem to be getting anything on it...
its really weird but 'm glad i'm not the only one! xx

Kavina, if you're a new student, you wont be able to see anything at that address because it's only for students who joined before 06.

On that screen there should be a message which says:

New 06 Students, please access your email using Outlook Web Access
either via the SUSSED Portal at www.sussed.soton.ac.uk
or directly at www.outlook.soton.ac.uk

That goes for new 07 students too :wink:

Also, the halls network was down for 30 minutes this morning - other parts of the network may have been too. Sometimes I can get on to the intranet when I can't access the internet, but this morning I couldn't do either.

I've got on to mine, but I have a different problem. Basically I've just signed up to facebook and it didn't let me use my hotmail address so I had to use my @soton.ac.uk address.
It says its sent an email to my soton addy but nothing has come through yet (after 15 minutes). Are we able to receive mail yet? Is the system generally slow? Am I signed into the right thing? (Webmail ISS) :s-smilie:

thanks so much swiftuk! i was wondering why i wasn't getting ANY e-mails no that.. haha now i know why. i wonder why the sussed portal doesnt work at all for us, though, even though the outlook one works fine... strange... xx
