Missed Placement

Hiya!

I have unintentionally missed my placement, my placement was due on Tuesday and it has been changed to Monday and I was not aware of the change of dates.

The university told me I have to re-sit it in the first week of September or the last week of August and that my results will be delayed to autumn term, does that mean I will be re-sitting the whole year, or that I will be starting late in January ?

Any help or experience would be kindly appreciated because I am literally freaking out about it
