ozy and mld

- both include art (the statue and the painting)
- talk of possessiveness and grandeur

- ozy is ironic in parts as the power is now all gone
- mld the duke still has power as he caused the death of the duchess

Sorry these are pretty bad, haven't set eyes on these poems for about 2/3 years

Bayonet charge shows how a solider is breaking and running away from war where as in the charge of the light brigade the soldiers are running towards battle despite having faulty orders, also Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote it as a form of propaganda whereas Ted Hughes wrote it so people are aware of the reality of war since his father suffered badly as result of WW1. A similarity could be that all everyone involved is broken either mentally or physically
