Hey is there anyone working in telesales? How is it? I heard that its really good for people in college/uni because you can choose the hours you work.
Does anybody know the number to call for any telesales companies that are recruiting

Hey. I used to work in telesales. The job is completley soul draining. All you do for 8 hours is sit at a desk with a phone. Its also not like your always talking to people as alot of the time noone answers the phone. However if your good at it you can earn alot of money. My job was on commission and i was averaging less than minimum wage, which is the main reason i quit. I could of stuck it out if i was earning a good wage. Try looking at http://www.gumtree.com under the sales bit, usually loads of jobs going there. Got my job from the site. You can try emailing [email protected] with your cv, which is where i used to work.

It really is very depressing. You basically turn into a robot, saying the same thing x amount of times alll the time you work. And some people can be very rude.

Check in your jobs pages, theres always loads of telesales vacancies as people don't tend to stay in that job for long.

    I lasted 2 days!

I suppose it CAN be good in that respect, but depends what company you work for. But believe me, it's horrific work.
