Depends. Do you like features or pretentious stupidity?

    8600 obviously.
I've no idea why you're having this dilema, the N95 is actually the ugliest mobile telephone I've ever seen.

Yeah but it actually has features. With the 8600 it's "ohh pretty, I can see the buttons through the cover. Oh thats it? I'm bored" :p:.

It's down to what you prefer.

I'm actually in a similar situation. It's not a case of the 8600 being simply pretentious - it's more that I already have a decent camera, mp3 player and navigation system, and would rather have a relatively slim but decent phone.

But basically as has been said, it's what you prefer in the end. If you want an all-in-one device then get the n95. If you just want a phone that looks good get the 8600.

none of these nokia n series phones can actually handle all their features.

with all the music, videos and camera, they can't always cope and end up being slow and crashing.

i've been through the 8800 and 880 sirocco and they've been such solid and well working phones - i'm sure the 8600's just as good. i very rarely use my phone as a camera - whether the mobile has a 2mp or 5pm camera, it will never be anything like a proper digi cam.
