Clearing help!!!

Hi, I have a huge problem. I applied to Uni through clearing and accepted a place not knowing much about the Uni and accomodation etc.. Well I went yesterday to have a look around and see the city and stuff and it looks awful! The only problem is I have just recieved a letter from UCAS saying that if I don't accept the place then I can't apply for another university until 2008! I've already taken a gap year so I really want to go this year. Is there anyway around this?
