The last film I watched was Bela Seshe and Monami Ghosh really delivers every time. By the way, I stumbled on a few behind-the-scenes clips that totally looked like a Melbet shoot. Rumor has it she’s about to be their next brand ambassador?
Jackie Brown - 9/10

A typical Tarantino film with guarantee for good entertainment. Two and a half hours which passed by fastly.
Reservoir Dogs - 8.5/10

A chamber drama with a tragedy at the end of the film. There are better Tarantino films, this one is decent.

I heard him say the growing paranoia amongst the characters set on a single location was influenced from watching The Thing (1982)

China Girl - 7
Fast Company - 6
Invaders from Mars - 6
L.A Confidential - 7.5
The Russia House - 6
The Thomas Crown Affair - 8
Serpico - 8.5/10

Corrupt cops in New York and an honest and loyal policeman attempts to stop it. Simple, but good plot for a film.
The Extra Man - 6/10

One of the weirdest average films I ever watched. I am so torn than never before.

The Day of the Jackal - 9
Suspense thrillers don't get much better than this. Even with the recent success of a TV adaption, this british classic about a hired assassin remains sorely overlooked by too many. This is partly due to the fact the old film doesn't boast any famous faces.

The Fury - 7
Enjoyable 70's supernatural horror. This was like watching a concoction of telepathic & telekinetic themes from Scanners and Carrie. However, unlike either of those films, the story didn't end up making much sense overall.

Valkyrie - 7
A rare Tom Cruise performance where he's playing someone other than his-boring-self. The only downside is the plot moves at a leisurely pace until about half way, but then it fortunately shifts gears.
The Naked Gun (2025) - 8/10

The critics were different and as I liked this kind of comedy - I was grown up with this film series - I wanted to test the film in the cinema. I didn't regret to watch, it made fun.

Interceptor
I watched through Netflix
Die Hard - 8.5/10

Just watched for the first time and this is an action film according to my taste. Funny puns, a lot of explosions and gun fires - that is the way how it works!

To follow up, I'd encourage you to go watch the '70s disaster flick, The Towering Inferno. It's superb, but has one downside, there's no gunfire to speak of - only persistent roaring fire. The idea of a conflicted, high-rise building in the novel, Nothing Lasts Forever, came to author Roderick Thorp after he saw that film.

Labyrinth (again) this afternoon.
Manchester by the Sea - 8/10

A very tough and melancholic film, I admit. It got me, seriously.
