Come on Rogue one was crap. 5 is generous. The whole franchise has gone down the pan (don't mention the three we don't talk about) and the Solo movie also looks like a right bore. I wish they'd stick to the main story line and flesh it out more instead of feeding us this filler movies because they love making $$$.

Many people agree with you even Luke said the movie was **** during the promo tour but papa Disney gave him a spanking and he was made to apologise for it. Can't have any negative opinions hurting the cash register that is this franchise!

Rogue one was the last good star wars movie, i swear it was a breath of fresh air, they did their very best to integrate it into main storyline and they did a pretty alright job
the force awakens and it's disgusting sequel were obviously cash cows, they didn't even try to develop a proper storyline.

You're right, Rogue One was better than the other two but that's not saying much. I wish the story line would just move forward. One of the main reasons I disliked Rogue One was because reverse timeline stories annoy me.

Not on the movies theme but the best thing that happened to star wars was the clone wars animations, which they killed probably because it was showing up the awful films they had planned

Very funny and I particularly enjoyed the directorial choice to film it in the style of a documentary with fourth wall breaks

Nope I thought it was disappointing on almost every level. Also thought Rogue One was pretty forgettable apart from K2SO and the Vader scene. I also don't really care about Solo either. Probably sounding like a Disney Star Wars hater haha but I did think The Force Awakens was great. Really against the fact it was an Ep 4 remake basically but the more I watch it the more I like it.

But I think they totally botched Episode 8 and it feels like such a pointless movie. I don't know what will happen in 9 but I feel like no matter what, you could watch 7 then 9 and nothing in 8 is important at all. There is no arc in 8 or development of the story at all. Characters who basically weren't in 7 came and gone in 8 and the newer characters had no development. Rey is still a half trained Jedi (not even), Kylo is still bad and unredeemable even though he already was after 7 and Finn is still just still Finn. And the whole plot of the movie was two ships slowly creeping away from each other where a whole sub plot to solve it was pointless and Rey's sub plot to learn to become a Jedi lasts 2 days and she learns nothing. Like literally nobody accomplished anything in the film, dark or light.

Boys - 7.5/10
A dutch gay coming of age film. I watched it with English subtitles and I recommend it as the movie is not really heavy as other LGBT films.
