Thank you for your reply I definitely won't watch Munich with my parents. Do you know any other good gangster movies except good fellas and the godfather? What did shock me a bit was how quite mike seemed to move on in regards to his wife's (apolonia) death. It seemed to quick for me and we weren't really shown his grieving process.

Scarface (with Al Pacino), The Departed, Boyz n the hood.. also if you like violence then A Clockwork Orange is a great/weird dystopia about a futuristic gang (not gangster) in London, if you don't mind dystopia

i haven't actually seen the first three . they are all just the best known gangster movies which aren't too old that came into my head and Scarface is #1 on my list of shame. :colondollar:

A Clockwork Orange though is very special to me though for its weirdness (best watched loud). it makes a lot of people feel uncomfortable because of its violence (not for everyone) but its very unique and it's one of those films where you watch it and you're like "ohh that's where that comes from!". i watched it with my mum and regretted it haha

PRSOM I wonder how similar a clockwork orange is to the novel (I want to read it) and what does the title refer to?

Midnight Cowboy - 4.5 stars omg loved it, weird af.
Gemini - 7/10
Not a bad film. Some elements could have been better developed/used, but it was a good action film nonetheless.
Django Unchained - 10/10

Great and partly very funny dialogues, superb actors, remarkable and unforgettable scenes coined in my mind, combined with a thrilling atmosphere. That is one of these films I would watch from the scratch again. Tarantino made a master piece.

What a film do you refer?

The Reconquest- 6/10. Rather boring, and I admittedly fell asleep, but good acting and an emotional story.

I like both very much I think they are equally good. The Godfather was a lot more unpredictable as none of the killings have been expected I think they were also different in the fact that the Godfather was about the Corleone family while goodfellas were not about a mafia family but exclusively about Henry himself.

They are very good on their own way. I just admired Goodfellas for the blunt depiction behind the mafia facade. I think that some criminals in the gang doing the donkeywork that just a few of the mafia family can live the life of the upper class - as in the Godfather trilogy.

I really can’t wait. They’ve cast certain characters (I won’t spoil it just in case) that I’m so excited to see in live action.

Snowpiercer 2013.

Top movie, good movie showing the different classes of society and the injustice within, all done in a creative manner. Worth a watch
