No Country For Old Men - 4 stars.

I just can't understand why the last 30 minutes were so flat...

one and a half hours in i thought i was going to give it a five star rating, the chase was so thrilling...the ending was important to the concept of 'no country for old men' but it was tied in really badly to the rest of the plot, and I wasn't invested in anything Tommy Lee Jones' character was saying to the other old man and his wife...overall i still really liked it!

Child's Play 2 - 5/10 cheesy
Bright - 7.5/10
A little odd, but I liked the themes and the music. It was a good action/fantasy(ish) film all round.

The Conversation (1974) - 3 stars.

Bizarre.

Upgrade. It was pretty good. Nice twist at the end. 8 out of ten.

Woman in black- was good, nice twist at the end. 8 out of ten.

Hereditary- stupid ending, all that build up for that! 0.5 out of ten.

12 Angry Men - 4 stars (is not very cinematic, where most of the film takes place in one room)

BUT this film should be ESSENTIAL viewing for everyone, it's really important to film history and has a great message

enola holmes - 8/10

Halloween (2018)

Pretty weak but still an enjoyable dumb slasher movie.

It's unmissable honestly, you'll love it! I've been watching Hitchcocks over lockdown with my Dad and we enjoyed The 39 Steps too. Charade is great too and The Lady Vanishes

Enola Holmes- 5/10

Fantastic Planet (1973) - 4 stars.

If you've ever wondered what taking hallucinogenic drugs is like... watch this.
Willy Wonka and the Chooclate Factory 9/10

First time seeing it and really enjoyed :awesome:,
I think I even might prefer it to the remake

I've got two heart-warming tearjerker movies if anyone's interested:

Summerland

The Farewell

I give both 7.5/10
The Imitation Game - 9/10

As I have heard of this film here at this place, I wanted to watch Imitation Game. I can confirm that it is a very good one. Not only because of Cumberbatch's great performance as Alan Turing, but also the working with flashbacks, I am a great fan of changing the period of times in a film. A bonus is the social criticism against homophobia in British society in the 40s and 50s and the prosecution of homosexuality in that time.
