birthday card message

This is very small and petty thing. I'm sending my girlfriend a birthday card. We got together at the end of the last term of uni. Summer came and she went travelling so I havent seen her since. We know each other quite well and we really get along. Its never got that intimate between us as we've taken things quite slow. Neither of us have said they love the other or made any wild romantic declarations like that.

Now do i write 'love ....' as the message in the card of do i just say 'from ....'.

The next thread i'll submit will be seeking advice on how to wipe my own arse.

Many thanks

what a waste of time. As youve obviously noticed

Write 'love from'... that's the kind of normal thing to do

I only ever write "love from" because only "from".... just sounds like you're my Grandad

love from... is fine cos it's in the middle
all my love... would be very daring and
from... is quite aloof.

although i guess it's how she takes it. us guys never know how a woman feels unless we take a plunge which could backfire or do nothing and then be accused of being insensitive or uncaring. sorry i've probably given you more doubts than solutions. good luck

'from' is a bit cold IMO...

I write 'love from' to anyone I know... When I receive letters and cards they are always signed love from or even lots of love from and I don't freak out and think they're all in love with me.

Dont write anything, just sign your name if you are that bothered about what will sound right

do whatever YOU are comfortable, geez if she's your gf she won't give a **** if you write "to, dear, hey, sup, from or love"!

Haha you're funny. Just write "love" or "lots of love". I know I'm a girl but I write this to all my friends, both male and female. Take a deep breath and stop overthinking, I doubt she'll be analysing every word (and if she is it'd only be because she really likes you and is trying to find out how much you like her).

Aww. I think the OP is sweet for asking. 'Love' fine... or go for something tongue-in-cheek like my usual, 'Love and Bruises'.
