Can I take GCSE privately while I am doing A level. I always wanted to study Gcse astronomy but unfortunately at my school they don't provide it as a gcse option. Hence I wasn't able to choose it.Currently I am in year 11 and I do already 12 subjects so I thought I will do next year with A levels.

Yes you can, but I don't really see the reason why you would? You could always just read up on astronomy. No one in the future will really care if you have a GCSE in astronomy or not.
