Heyy people :p: I need your advice on this please! Got my AS's in the summer which I thought I did relatively well in, with the exception of English Literature [The exam board being edexcel]. My UMS marks for the individual modules are:

101/120 - Drama & Poetry [streetcar named desire & edexcel poetry anthology]

    79/90 - Pre - 1900 text [Frankenstein]

74/90 - Shakespeare in context [Hamlet coursework]

The dilemma is that I want to apply to oxbridge [for Economics, in which I got 293/300], and I'm worried that my Eng Lit marks are not high enough..

I'm not sure which one to resit, or even to resit them all!.. in order to lower the threshold of what I need to get, to achieve an A overall in A2 level.

Problem is, if I resit drama & poetry that will require major EFFORT simply because its two texts in one exam. And I dont want to put a strain on the A2 modules I may take in January! What would you do in my situation?

Thank you v much in advance!!

Pff, I'd never resit English lit. Still, is there any chance of you resitting that third module then, if you can't resit the first? And um, doesn't this add up to 254/300 anyway, which is a low but comfortable A? I think you've done pretty well really.

If i had to decide which one to resit, i would suggest your coursework.

^ Agreed - but if you're applying for Economics and you got a comfortable A anyway, you really don't need to bother!
