It depends on the rest of your grades I think, and your ambitions. Especially if you think half an A* would considerably improve your chances or a C would stop you from getting into a university. I probably wouldn't care too much if it was me; it's RS. But maybe redoing the exam is the best option, especially if you can do it in Nov/Jan rather than June when you have more important exams to worry about.

i seriously think you should retake it - an A* in RS is really respected by universities as it demonstrates that you can process information clearly and form balanced judgements. Additionally, it shows you are not ignorant of your surroundings and the kind of people with which you live.

So yeah, retake it!!

I really wouldn't bother - it's only short course, and you passed it anyway. Also, if you did well in another more obviously analytical/argumentative subject, for example History or English, then I doubt a university will mind that you got a C in RS.

But equally, if you really feel bad about it and doing re-takes would put your mind to rest (and you have the time), then do it, you haven't got anything to lose.

Sorry if I wasn't much help there, but good luck.
