    One of the questions im answering as part of an application form for Starbucks was :

    Why do you think great customer service is important to Starbucks?

    I answered:
    So that the customer has a memorable starbucks experience, and becomes a loyal regular customer.

    I think you should expand the anser by also stating that they will being frienedly and assisting their needs appropriately it will provide the customer with a memorable starbucks experience,which will result in the customer being a loyal regular customer.

    I'd have jazzed it up a bit I think "It's not just the coffee that keeps customers coming back; it's the Starbucks experience" etc. Lots of pretension and a good dose of corporate *******s gets me through
