I went to southport today and went on the Traumatizer which nearly killed me (dont like heights) but i thought it was good. Then went on lucozade space shot and my stomach was left on the ground. That was also good. Anyone been to southport?

I went there on Friday! It was great because hardly anyone was there - I've been on the Traumatizer before and lets just say I don't remember much about it >.< that ride where you stand up and it spins you up and around is cool though, it's been featured on The Simpsons

yea been loads of times coz its only 45 minutes away, traumatizer is good and that little wooden rollercoaster

I'm not bothered about heights, it's rollercoasters that go so fast seem out of control *hides* I've never been on the space shot, I stick to the tamer rides

Maw that little wooden rollercoaster is sweet. I went on it six times in a row, there were no queues
pity it overlooks a rubbish dump though...
i once went to Pleasureland when i was really young and got friction burn from the Helter Skelter thing..i walked through Pleasureland last summer and it was a bit of a dump really although the rides look fun but i can't go on rides anymore

The rest of Southport is fun though, since they have improved things it is nice. Apart from i went the other week and a chippy i loved as a child had burnt down!!!

I like Southport, its nice and Lord Street is so elegant, the boulvuards(sp) in Paris are based on Southport.
I find Southport one of the few seaside towns that are not tacky. I like it a lot, its just a shame the weather wasn't nicer and it wasn't next door to Liverpool (I love scousers really )

No Southampton... Never been to Southport in my life..!
