So why is Islam the fastest growing Religion?
Because it's aggressive in its proliferation.

Islam is not a place. Islam is a religion. Members of Islam are called "Muslims." Mecca is a place strongly associated with Islam.

In the United States, Islam is the fastest growing religion, a trend fueled mostly by immigration. There are 5 million to 7 million Muslims in the United States. They make up between 10,000 and 20,000 members of the American military.

Islam is the fastest growing religion because birth rates in some Islamic countries are higher in comparison to others of alternative belief.

That is not the main reason I am looking for and also not the main reason why Islam is the fastest growing religion.

It preaches in very simplistic "This is god's holy unaltered word, it's unopen to interpretation" terms. Unlike modern day christianity for example, which is regarded as some vague distant guide to living, Islam is alot more clear cut on the issues.

It also has a big theme called "Jihad." Ie. the holy struggle. This is often seen as a call for the proliferation of Islam through aggressive techniques, including the military.

Finally, it's probably reasonable to say that Islam is prevalent more in developing countries than developed countries, and developing countries have considerably higher birth rates?

Well what others are there? I should imagine the trend of those who are not of Islamic ancestry converting is fairly insignificant.

Unless you can provide some stats which state otherwise?
