TotalImmoral's right; both MI5 and MI6 do take on graduates for intelligence officer roles - they were even at a Graduate Recruitment Fair!! It's quite a myth that everything is all completely under secrecy and they will only headhunt those to the organisation.

They don't, however do any form of internship. The minimum age to join either organisation is 21, hence why it would be impractical to offer internships to U/G University students.

Just to put the final nail in this thread, both SIS and MI5 categorically state on their websites that they do not take interns. Look under the FAQs.

Its do with security and vetting procedures.
