I'm thinking to take Grade 6 oboe (ABRSM) before I start Year 13. But I'm in doubt because there are only 6 months left

Is it possible to master three pieces, all the grade 6 scales, sight reading and aural test within this time? I already know one of the pieces pretty well, having performed it for my GCSE music coursework. I've also got a grasp of the aural test after taking Grade 6 piano exam. I'm probably going to practice for 1-2 hours every other day.

What do you think? Should I take the exam or not?

Yes. This is plenty of practice time. If you even just structure you practice so that you do ten minutes a day of scales, maybe practicing a different one or two everyday, and then twenty minutes per piece per day, this will be plenty to achieve a very high mark!
