Is there any chance of getting into the top 10 uni for economics??!

So my GCSE grades are terrible, I achieved 5B's, 3C's and 1 D however, this was due to me going through depression and so I couldn't perform the best (I was predicted around 6As and 3B's).
Currently, I'm at a top sixth form taking Maths, History Economics and accounting along with Pre-U.
I was thinking of dropping accounting and take it as an AS and take on Further Maths AS next year.
Say if I did get stellar grades, would there be any hope at all for me to get into the top unis??

You should drop accounting, it is way weaker compared to Further Maths. However, it's better to apply with an A in accounting than a C in Further Maths, so watch out for that. As long as you do extracurricular activities, have some work experience and in general a good personal statement, your chances of getting into a good university are pretty good
