It's D. The big advantage of confocal microscopes is they can get images of only at the required depth.

Oh I think I get it:
It observes specimens at different depths (deepnesses)

Which book would you recommend I use mostly?
CGP or The endrosed textbook? - I hate the textbook cuz it gives too much information that isn't necessary (e.g. charged stains/ history of cell theory) and its bad at explaining concepts IMO. (e.g. scanning electron microscopes)

But the CGP textbook sometimes misses out on important topics (e.g. differential staining).

Any revision tips after making notes?
biology notes or just do past papers? + should I make notes on the application stuff thats given in the textbook e.g. atomic force microscopy?
