Hi Im kate and Im about to start Law at KCL this year but things got complicated and i'm not sure whether I want to do so. i used to be so excited about reading law in london but now the only thing that I can think of as really being fascinated with is HISTORY. So go for it! many would probably say. But I dont want to take a gap year and I dont want to study at an average uni. I also messed up my history finals (I only scored 6/7 at HL History- IB diploma).
And that is the root of all evil cause I dont think at cambridge they would be satisfied with my history grade and its quite probable that they would get rid of me in pre-interview stage. If there is a fair chance of at least getting an interiew (I am prepared to retake my history exams) I can stay at Warsaw Uni and read law cause its cheaper and i would have more time to prepare for an interview. But if there is no chance of getting an interview im gonna head for KCL cause that means better job prospects than WU.
Youre smart and you can see a full picture easily plus youre history students and some of them might have had similar experience. Thats why please help me if you can and post smth for me.
cheers and sorry for such a long story.

So you don't want to study the course you applied for, you don't want to take anything in clearing and you don't want a gap year?

Um... Take a gap year and resit history.

what about studying at warsaw uni? you dont think its a good idea?may be pretty hard to prepare for resits and study simultaneously but if i wont get into cam i can continue my studies. when i take a gap year, i may be left with nothing.
