What do IBs think of gap years? I took one before starting Uni and I didn't do any internships or anything, I just temped for a year to earn money for Uni, and to get some basic work experience. I know some Unis object to gap years, while some are fine with them, but what do banks think?

Banks are really good with them - if you can get some work experience at a Big 4 firm or bank then this is a great shoe-in to get a summer internship.
