Should i take a gap year???

For my AS I achieved AAAC in maths physics chemistry and further maths respectively. Initially, I wanted to study chemical engineering at university and now im receiving offers. However, I realised that I would much rather studying maths than chem eng at uni. Despite being predicted A*A*A(maths, chemistry, physics respectively) , I've already applied for chem eng and now im not doing A2 further maths. what should I do? thanks for reading

because of your subject combination I would not recommend you taking a gap year, especially with maths students, i dont think universities really like it because you "forget your maths" after a year? You are still doing maths so i guess its fine im not too sure though? surely you could still apply for maths though?
