No, my moods change as violently as yours. In fact, quite a bit more so - a few weeks is hopeful, staying in the same mood for a few days is pretty good going for me.

using the workout plan scenario,

u would feel bad for a few weeks cus u dont think ull be able to stick to your work out plan

then u get into your work out plan and feel good for a few weeks cus u r doing well

then u have another worry or problem and feel bad again

thats normal and would surely happen 2 any1

being able to solve problems is a skill and having problems and sorting them is good. having another problem and therefore feeling in a bad mood again just shows that u havent got a sad boring life

my mood changes drastically. it's scary how it could dominate you.

one time i got so sad and unhappy i was sure i was going to leave the family and live on the streets. then the next day - it seems as though nothing happened.

My moods change during the course of the day  I was happy-dappy yesterday morning, grumpy in the afternoon and in tears by bedtime. All for no apparent reason.

I'm the same. My moods change all the time. I feel quite bad about it sometimes - especially for my boyfriend, as we could be all happy but then suddenly I'll just get in a mood for no reason really.

I find that whenever I feel good my mood will change suddenly but I don't get it as much the other way around. It's more gradual going from bad to good.

I'm up and down like a see-saw.
Sometimes I feel like the crappest person on the planet, then other times I feel really well about myself. This is probably daily.

Just hormones I guess?

It's called being a teenager isnt it?

^ I hope so. Otherwise there are a lot of crazy people in the world. And TSR!

My moods are really unpredictable... like generalbriety said for them to stay the same for a few weeks your lucky, mine can change every few hours, every day or even every week (even i dont understand them!) and like fluent in lies said its all aprt of being a teenager!

With the workout plan i know you dont feel like sticking with it but do so and then in a few weeks youll be really happy with the results!

I felt like this when i was 15/16- mood swings, deppression, feeling crappy about life, and then woiuld wake up the next morning feeling fine. but now 2 years on i have changed alot, and im generally a happy go lucky person for days at a time. although sometimes i do get a bit down because of certain things, i can usually cheer up a few hours later.

My moods change every 5 minutes, sometimes quite literally lol. I think at the moment it has a lot to do with the impending move to uni, and men, well, one bloke. I very rarely have long periods of time where my mood stays the same. I am hoping this is normal lol..

I have had mood swings a lot in the past few months but they seem to be evening out again now.

I often had days when I couldn't be bothered to stick to my work out plan, but I stuck with it and it actually made me feel better in the end. If you don't feel like doing it, maybe there's something else you could do?

Today I went from sad to happy to excited to sleepy to nervous to bored then mad and last lazy. :p: Maybe I'm PMS-ing lol. But I do go through times where I feel really depressed. My only solution is to focus on the happier things in life, focus on school work, my goals etc. If you don't want to feel depressed, you don't have to. It's all about trying. Work-out plan? Never works for me. I don't eat much when I'm depressed so exercisng isn't exactly what I need at those times. For me it's more of a mental thing you need to work on rather than physical. But that's just me!

I always find listening to music seems to change my mood in a way?
So if you're feeling a bit down, put some good music on, should cheer u up a bit.
Also a lot of the time when i'm feeling a bit down is cos im not doing anything, keeping busy seems to take your mind off things
