Hi,

I'm currently studying for a HNC and want to progress on to Manchester School of Architecture in the future.

One of the units on my HNC is a Research Project

I want to consider something to do with architects/architecture

I've made a Hypothesis to do with architectural technology (REVIT) and was after some information about it. I believe its a software that helps towards building up BIM.
Any pointers or guidence on reading would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Marc

It one of many pieces of software that makes up BIM.

E.G. revit like auto cad can be imported into navisworks to view the 'BIM' model.

So once the RIBA stage 3 design has been co-ordinated the model can be created.

You need to take a more holistic view though.

Maybe read PAS 1192:2 for achieving level 2 BIM
