    Hi there,

It might sound like a really silly question but I think this could change my application for summer internships entirely ! So i've got an average of 59.083 for my first year and I was wondering if I could put 2:1 as my overall average or if I had to put 2:2 !?? I know that in Manchester uni they have the boundary zones policy which, if applied to my case, would give me a 2:1 but I think they only do that for graduation. oh in case it helps, i'm going to apply for sales and trading in investments banks such as Citi, BNP Paribas, Barcap, Royal Bank of Scotland and the like ( my marks in maths, management accouting and finance are quite good but they don't let me put them up ) ... Thanks in advance.

You got a 2.2, not a 2.1. Even rounded up.

Not exactly; depending on the university's policies, it could be a 2:1. I know some universities will give a 1st for a 68%.

Ask your profs - if one of them is willing to call it a 2:1 then get it in writing and use that if the banks want something.
