The goblet of fire with the tri wizard tournament. I thought Viktor Krum was great and the excitement of the tournament had me hooked. The other books are vague in my memory apart from Deathly hallows which i read recently.

Order of the Pheonix was excellent I thought, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire where my other two favourites.

    I would probably rank them...

    5, 4, 3, 7, 6, 1, 2

I think Azkaban and Philosopher's Stone were the best, but I really enjoyed Half Blood Prince. Was not a fan of Deathly Hallows.

    Probably:
3 (The best I think-I loved the whole time thing with Hermione)
5 (Long, but worth reading- film did not do it justice)
6 (Loved the revelation about the horcruxes)
4 (Good-but missed the normal day to day life of Hogwarts)
    7 (Same as above)
1 (Great start to the series-but compared to the others not that good)
2 (By far the worst of the best books written)

5,6,7,3,4,1,2 actually I really can't decide all I know is 2 is last
5 was very full of suspense and was sad,
6 I liked the dumbledore friendship and the history,
7 I thought it was great (no offence but I think a lot of people spoiled that book for themselves by reading fanfic/theories online-if you give 1000 monkey's 1000 typewriters yadda yadda... with the internet it only takes one person to guess it right then everyone expands on it etc-bad idea you might as well just read spoilers) oops sorry for the rant
3 multiple plot twists and I love sirius
4 again suspense, sadness good ending
1 beginning of it all 'nuff said
    2 meh, just meh

    best to worst

    5 - sirius
4 - when cedric dies I think is where the books get a lot darker
    6 - dumbledore
3 - introdues sirius, and backstory of James Potter etc.
    1 - introduces it all
7 - could of been better
2 - weaker out of the lot

    From best to worst;
4 - because this was the pivotal book of the series which kinds of moves things forward, and I thought it was structured really well
7 - I thought the series ended really well with this book
    3 -
2 - the book that prabably had the most suspense in it
5 - this one was probably the biggest disappointment; the development of Harry's character was unconvincing, particularly his shouting scene with dumbledore at the end
6 - I think JK Rowling struggled to reconcile heroism and dark magic with homework and detentions in this book
1 - more an introduction than anything else

After which I thought 5 and 6 were very bad fanfics and hoped someone would yell at me: April fool and give me the real ones.Didn't happen though

    so 4,7,3,2,1,5,6

I got to like the 5th one due to the movie though.

    For me:
4 - all the action and where the books become darker and more mature
7 - great ending imo and the book contains almost everything
6 - not so much action but i loved the hogwarts every day life and the humour
    then 5, 3, 2, 1
