I have a query about my uni application. I have recently been accepted to southampton solent university unconditionally and i was wondering how long does it take for me to recieve a letter declaring my place . Roughtly how long will it take till i receive info on accomodation etc from the uni and also do i have to accept my place on track or do i leave it.

    Many Thanks

Keep an eye on track and your email and your letterbox is all I can say. If you dont get anything after a few days contact the uni and ask nicely.

We cannot tell you much as each university works differently and it can vary on a case by case basis

If you mean the letter from UCAS (not the uni) that says you've been accepted and asks you to reply with a slip with the options "yes im taking this place"/"no i dont want it", then it took them about 10 days from my results day to send it. I received it about 20 days after the results. And replied to it about a month after the results.

As far as I know, you don't have to do anything on Track. I'm surprised you haven't got the AS12 letter from UCAS and the accommodation stuff from the uni already, since results day was nearly 2 weeks ago, but the postal strikes probably aren't helping. Give it until Friday and then maybe phone UCAS and the uni to check that everything's OK.
