Would you say this freind was a user?

about 3 months ago.. i met a freind on myspace that i hadnt seen for a while.. i had known them from college the previous year.. anyways they emailed me saying could they borrow a tenner for the week.. so we met up i gave him the tenner.. we spoke and wandered about for 45 mins.. then they went. the next day they said they needed more money and the same thing happened for about two months.. in the end i had lent them about £107 in total.. by this point i thought they taken it too far.. so i said to them i cant lend them anymore money.. even though after i had stil told them, they were askin for more money.. basically by the end of it they kepted on asking for money wen i didnt wanna lend them anymore.. they had seem to got greedy.. anyways in the end they dont text or talk to me anymore cause i wont give them anymore money.. What do you think of this person? are they just a user? are they trying to make me look a fool? and take my kindess for a weakness?

They've taken you for a mug. I wouldn't have lent them money at all?! I'm surprised you lent them more after the 2nd or 3rd time to be honest.

Do not lend any money to anyone can't really trust. They have clearly used you, i mean who knows what they wanted that money for. A friend of mine kept lending money to her friend who turned out was using that money for drugs.

Take the guy to a small claims court for your money back.

And yes, he was a user but not a friend.

You need to get your money back!! Also, who knows how many other people they have "borrowed" money off?

I wouldn't lend money to anyone except a really close friend who i trust and see regularly.

I lent £10 to a friend in freshers week. Never saw him again. Only a tenner but could have used it later on in the year when the loan was running out.

Yeah, then she'd be £107 + £40(or whatever the court fee is) out of pocket. She has no chance, and frankly she doesn't deserve one. Idiotic behaviour from the OP.

This person is a user and definitely not a friend. You need to demand you get money back. If all else fails sue 'em. :p:
