Not sure if I've remembered it 100% but it was like
Maths: C (ended up with a B, 3 UMS off A -- now predicted A for A-level)
Chemistry: B (ended up with A -- now predicted A* for A-level)
Physics: C (ended up with A -- now predicted A* for A-level)

A - History
A - English Lit
A - English Language
U - Biology
It's safe to say Biology was dropped before I sat the proper exams
Now predicted 4 x A*s. I picked up an EPQ.

Got AACD (M, Bio, Phys, Chem; As in real thing) and AABB (M, FM, Phys, Chem; A*A*A*A in real thing) for first AS and A2 mocks respectively. Couldn't get a hang of exam technique in my first set of mocks but my grades shot up in the following mocks with a little revision.
Do UK schools use a UMS system for mocks? Mine just said 80% = A, 70% = B, etc. We had no A* either

Mocks (I'm not 100% sure)
- French = B
- Geography = C
- Travel and Tourism = C
- Economics = D
Actual exams
- French = C
- Geography = D
- Travel and Tourism = B
- Economics = D
Tbh, the French mock didnt include my speaking assessment. I got B in the lsitening reading and writing both times but my speaking pulled it down to a C

C to an A in physics and B to an A in chemistry!

Do you have any tips for chemistry? I am currently on the verge of a B/A grade. I haven't sat my mocks yet but I would really like to get a solid A!

Best thing to do for Chemistry is to fully understand everything as opposed to just memorising. For example, instead of just memorising a mechanism, learn why it happens - e.g. why does the lone pair on the nucleophile attack the carbon, etc. Is there anything in particular you struggle with? Also, what exam board are you on?

Well done. Can I get some revision tips for Maths and Chemistry please? I haven't done my mocks yet cause I'm self-teaching. I'm in yr 12 now.

For Maths, use ExamSolutions (try to do the questions as he does them), then textbook practice. Once you've done a module, just do loads of past papers. First the actual papers for your exam board, then past papers for other closely related exam boards, then Solomon and IYGB papers etc.
Chemistry, I gave someone advice above. There are also a lot of videos online to help you along with using your textbook, then ofcourse past papers. Also check out the "ChemRevise" website.
Is there anything in particular you're struggling with atm?
