Influence of social media on the fashion industry

For my media A level I am investigating the impact of social media on the fashion industry, including things like "Instagram models", bloggers and magazine's own social media profiles. If you have any views on the topic please let me know things that would be good to know are if you believe social media impacts your fashion sense e.g. what you buy or how to style things.
