    Hi all

I got a CC in my GCSE for double science...i aimed for a B

Overall i got 404/600...a BB is 420/600. I phoned up OCR today and they said to resit (in January) its £24.10. To re-do coursework (which i got 92/120) is £14.60.

Is it possible to just add to the coursework, try and get another 16-20 marks then resubmit to the exam board? So in other words, instead of re-sitting, can i just redo some of the coursework?

I would go for the coursework, if you're that bothered, though you could just do GCSEs when everyone else does...

Why did you fast track all of your GCSEs?? Was it worth it??

Well it will have to be the exam, my school wont, for some reason, allow me to do coursework instead.

I didnt have an option, everyone in our year had to fast track all their GCSE's, if the teacher didnt feel confident that a student would not get a good grade then they get 1 extra year. I would rather have done me GCSE's next year as normal, but i didnt have a choice. The school belives SATs are a waste of 3 years so 2 years sats, 2 years GCSE and 1 year starting AS levels before should allow most students to get more qualifications and reach their potential!

    Yeah it is really...

I did ask my teacher if i could do a resit to get at least a B..he said that he thinks if i work hard then i could pass the A level but i am not to sure myself...i would rather resit the exams! Do you know how much they would cost? This is the Edexcel, Maths 1387
