2. It seems quite clear he likes you. Why not try sending him on of those texts while sober?

Reply 2

It sounds to me like he genuinely is in love with you. Big time. You probably won't find anyone better.

Reply 3

Guys dont really generally do the whole texting thing... so i think he likes you.

Sometimes I wait for days without hearing anything from him and thats ok, I'm quite independent, but it sort of makes me feel like he's not that interested.

Confusing isn't it chick? And you dont want to be the one to always brake the silence. I understand

:hugs:

Where did you get that theory from?

I've met guys that love texting. I've met guys who don't.

Reply 6

Why not take the leap and tell him how you feel? If he continues to be blase after that, then I would reconsider your relationship.

Reply 7

Guys arnt particularly inteligent creatures.
I speak from first hand experience.

Tell him how you feel and see what his response is and ask him if he is being distant because he doesnt want to come accross as clingy or if its because he genuinely isnt interested.

Reply 8

Tell him what you've put down here, on the phone if you can't get to see him. His actions when you're with him seem like he genuinely likes you.

Reply 9

Have you ever thought about just taking off up there in the car and suprising him?

Reply 10

Aww, he sounds really nice, hope you feel lucky! He's most probably just shy, just arrange to meet him whenever its conventiant for you both and ask him what he wants to his face

He said experience. In the realm of girls, guys are generally clueless.

Reply 14

Talk to him, communication is so important in a relationship. You don't want to end up giving up on the relationship because your not sure of his feelings for you, bite the bullet and just ask him.

Chivalry does not always equate to love. I often offer to walk someone home, regardless of gender. I don't mind walking on my own, it's peaceful and I'm sure my friends appreciate the company. In regards to women though, it's just good manners. I don't appreciate it when girls complain that I hold a door open for them though. Is there really any need for feminism nowadays, honestly?

I would suggest that the guy in question obviously likes you and is just simply well-mannered. Don't look too deep into the whole text thing, I'd probably be doing exactly the same thing in his position as when some one's drunk it's usually either inappropriate or almost impossible to have a coherent conversation with them

too many numbers in the original post.....i lost count.

It's half and half imo. I don't think the man is in love, it seems to early (but I can't be sure of course).

The text thing shouldn't worry you, if he's anything like me he hates texting because people :

a) Tlk lik dis
b) Send one sentence at a time, (about nothing)
c) Send another message 1 min later asking why you didn't reply to the first
d) Send you 30 messages a day (about nothing)
e) Get upset when you don't remember what they were talking about (nothing)
f) Forget that you have other people doing the same thing to you.

I'd say he's acting like a gent, which is good. However, his lack of sexual interest is odd. If he hasn't tried to so much as kiss you yet he's either not interested at all and is just a good friend, or is totally inexperienced and waiting for you to jump him.

Aww this sounds great! It's still early days, he's probably just still not wanting to be open about his feelings. To me it sounds like he really likes you. As for the communication/meeting up issues, I think I've had this problem with every guy I've been with at some point, it doesn't mean a lot necessarily! I agree with the person who said to send him those texts when you're sober - just say you feel a bit unsure as to whether he likes you. Or tell him you really like him and see what he says! Someone has to get serious first after all...

It kinda sounds like when me and my bf before we were official i wasnt completely sure what was going on and how he felt.. so i jus asked what was going on. To me it sounds like he does like you but is a shy.. the best way to find out is to ask him when your sober and see what the response is.
