Is there an option to do that? I just did my C1 this year (My GCSE year) and I pretty much couldn't give a damn about it - I thought meh, I'll always have the chance next year, and it's hardly likely I'll get anything less than an A overall, right? But when I looked at the Cambridge applications form, they ask you for all your module UMS marks, which I'm now really gutted about. Incidentally, are there any other unis which ask for your module marks?
I got 92/100 for C1, and although I have very little doubt I'll get under 80% overall, I'm considering redoing the module next year, because to be honest, I honestly spent no time on it at all this year (We spent 1 whole ****ing year learning C1; what a huge waste of time. You can see why I wasn't bothered...) and I do believe I will get a better result next year. But I'm just wondering - is there any reason to do that? There's no point me redoing it if Cambridge will see it anyway, so meh...I was considering declining this module so it looks as though I never did it. Is that even possible? And is it a good idea? Thanks
Edit: P.S. I will be doing STEP in U6, and maybe AEA this year, if that helps. Maybe this won't be looked down upon that much if I get good results in those?

Maybe I'm misreading this, but are you asking if there is a way around declaring 92/100? If so, why the hell not? That's an amazing mark; if you did that well in all three AS modules you'd have 276/300, the equivalent to an A* if there was such a mark! You have to declare your UMS for Cambridge, but Cambridge is the only university which asks for this. Anyway, you can resit it in January or in the summer and Cambridge would not know any difference; kind of unnecessary though.

Honestly unis aren't going to be bothered if you resit C1. Not that you really need to, 92 on C1 is a strong start to your maths A-level. If you really want to resit it then do, but one module isn't going to be the end of the world for your uni application.
