Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but what part of Geography do you enjoy most and what do you prefer doing?
From all the Geography stuff I've done I would have to say that Physical Geography is my favourite part. It tackles all the big issues (in my eyes) and really it is stuff I am really interested in.
So, what about you?

From my experience, university-level geography turns you towards Human because it has more nuances and more scope for intellectual debate. I would have considered myself a Physical geographer before university, but now with one year completed of a fairly balanced course (although at Cambridge it is more like 2/3 human, 1/3 physical despite nominally being even) I am certainly in the middle. Physical just has less of a place to go.

I was always under the impression that physical geography opens hundreds of doors into almost every branch of earth and environmental science imaginable, but okay. While I do agree that human geography seems to be a hell of a lot more serious in university, I'm quite sure that physical geog provides a wide range of post-grad opportunities as well.
