Go to the doctors to get it checked. It could be a change in the pigment of the skin or just grey hair. My hairs been going grey since I was 18 but being a girl I dye it.

i know thisll sound silly but did your mom drop you on your head when you were a baby? Two of my friends were dropped on their heads when they were a baby and they both have patches on hair that are different colours to the rest, the one is black haired with a line of blonde going from the top of his head all the way through his beard lol.

I have had white hair since I was 13, now I'm 16, what are the causes, no one in my family had white hair at an early age, so it can't be genetic. is it bad to have white hair, I have them all on the left side of my head over the ear, all around its fully black, why is it white in one specific place.

kara louise from big brother has that! also a guy in my class at school had a white mark on his head and the hair was white. he said it was a birth mark

That was natural?? I thought she had just had that bit highlighted

Nope, if you look closely you can see the skin on half of her forehead is lighter too, the side where the hair is white

Reply 15

oooo yes, just went on the big brother website and had a look, cant believe I didnt notice it!

My dad had the same problem. Don't worry about it, you could dye it if you really hate it. Dad always flaunted his.

Reply 17

I don't think it's dangerous. But if you want to, you can get it checked out.

My friend had the same problem and she has long, daaaark chocolatey brown hair. She started getting wuite patches of skin, they grew a little, so she went to get it checked out, and they diagnosed a condition [sorry, I can't remember the name], where your skin has no pigmant.

They started appearing here there and everywhere too. Luckily though, because she's stopped "growing" they won't get any worse.

Don't worry Love, you'll be fine. If the worst comes to the worst, you could always dye it.

Sounds like Vitligo.

Vitiligo is a chronic skin condition that causes loss of pigment, resulting in irregular pale patches of skin. The precise cause of vitiligo is complex and not fully understood. Vitiligo on the scalp may affect the color of the hair (though not always), leaving white patches or streaks. It will similarly affect facial and body hair.
